Turangi Leisure Lodge is situated in the heart of the township of Turangi, which is located at the southern end of Lake Taupo. Turangi is not only famous as an angler's paradise but is rapidly gaining the reputation as the outdoor pursuit centre of the North Island.

Fly fishing on the Tongariro River or one of the many streams flowing into Lake Taupo, fishing from a boat or just cruising on the lake, snow-skiing Whakapapa or Turoa, white-water rafting, tramping, eco-tours, rock climbing are some of the exciting attractions of the area. If you'd prefer a more leisurely pace take a day trip to the vineyards of the Hawkes Bay or relax in the nearby thermal waters at Tokaanu.
