While staying at Club Lavaud, you can choose between peaceful walks and cycle tracks around the many beaches and streams of the peninsula, or you can catch a ride out to swim with the rare Hectors Dolphin - some of the smallest dolphins in the world.

Another option is to sample some of the growing selection of fine wines at the various wineries on the peninsula or try some exquisite cheese at nearby Barrys Bay.

Club Lavaud offers 4 beautifully appointed apartments that fit wonderfully with the French feel of Akaroa. Each apartment is fully self serviced with kitchen and laundry facilities, and with two bedrooms that will sleep up to 6 people.

The resort has access to kayaks and a dinghy to enable you to get out and paddle around the harbour and explore its small bays and beaches..
